Who we are
ScrubCards (“we”, “us”) is a study app for veterinary technicians. This
policy explains what we collect when you use the site and related
installable (PWA) experience.

What we collect
- Google account basics when you sign in: email, display
name, profile photo URL, and a Google user id (handled by Firebase
Authentication).
- Study progress tied to your account (for example
cards reviewed, streaks, goals, module unlock state), stored in
Google Firestore.
- Access requests if you ask to join while not yet
allowlisted (email and profile details you already shared at sign-in).
- Bug reports you voluntarily submit (message, optional
“expected” notes, page URL, rough browser user agent, and your
account identifiers).
- Basic analytics if Firebase Analytics is enabled for
the project (for example app opens). We do not sell this data.
How we use it
- Sign you in and keep progress synced across devices.
- Gate access for an invite/allowlist during early use.
- Review bug reports and improve ScrubCards.
- Operate and secure the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
Storage and processors
Authentication, database, and (if enabled) analytics run on Google
Firebase / Google Cloud. Your progress is stored in your signed-in
account, not as the source of truth on a single device.
Retention
We keep account and progress data while you use ScrubCards. You can ask
us to delete your account data by emailing the contact above. We may
retain limited records if needed for security or legal reasons.
Your choices
- Sign out any time from the account menu.
- Reset study progress from Settings (if that feature is available to you).
- Request access removal or data deletion via the contact email.
Children
ScrubCards is aimed at adults training or working as veterinary
technicians. It is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The “Last updated”
date at the top will change when we do.
